Muc-Off ChainDoc

Cleaning the chain is probably the messiest job where your bike is involved, getting all the assorted crud off the chain takes forever, whether thats running the chain through a rag soaked in degreaser or just soaking it in a pot of the stuff.
Muc-Off, well known for their exploits with the bright pink bike cleaner, have come up with the ChainDoc.
Basically its a tool that clips onto a can of degreaser and the assorted brushes inside it clean all the crap off the chain, with the degreaser getting the bits you can't see.

Firstly you clamp the tool around the chain, and squeeze the lever to hold it shut. Then you push the button on the spray can to release the degreaser, which neatly sprays onto the chain from within the tool.
The chain then runs through a system of rubber 'wipers' to get the substantial stuff off the outsides, then two stiff circular brushes get the muc-off the rest of the chain.
Apparently this can all be done in 19 seconds but it took me about 30, room for improvement? Luckily the tool comes in my favourite shade of pink too. The amount of gunk accumulated in the ChainDoc afterwards shows that it works, with half the trails jammed between the links in my chain!

The tool is well thought out, and makes cleaning the chain an absolute piece of p1ss! However it is slightly pricey at £19.99 RRP, but with this you also get a can of chain cleaner worth around 6 quid so the price seems more justified now. The great thing about the ChainDoc is you can also unclip it from the can of ChainCleaner and snap on a can of Muc-Off's PTFE Chain Lube, so you can lube your chain without getting it all over the disc brakes, as the spray will be kept within the ChainDoc, and any excess will be caught before it leaves the system.
Initially I was skeptical that a bunch of brushes would be able to get the chain running smooth again, but i've been proved wrong, it works well and shifting was back being smooth and the chain back nice and shiny.
