We managed to blag an interview with the new Giant DH team boss and UNT (c) owner Rob Warner, we talk about freeriding, women riders and beer.

Rob Warner is a very busy man, current head honcho of the Giant Downhill team, running the UNT brand and also organising a No Clips DH event for the end of the season, we'll bring you the latest information on that as we get it.
Interview had to be quick and neat because this man dont sit around for long, unless its a pub of course...

Full Name: Rob Warner
Age: 33
Current Location: Henley on Thames

So, what do you think are the UK's best course's?

Not break my leg twice.

How's the UNT brand going?
It does good, bit of an aquired taste. New designs on www.unt.uk.com!!!!

What do you think of the whole New World Disorder riding? freeride and all this?
I like to watch it when its that good, don't like all this new street shit that just
copies BMX but doesn't look as good.

What do you think of women riders? Opinions on the up?
Getting better aren't they, signed one to Giant who's never ridden a DH bike before and still hasn't, we're waiting for her bike to come from the US.Think she's got the potential to go all the way but i could be very wrong!!!

Do you think that signing Stu Thompson will be a good asset to the team in 2004?
No, he's Scottish.

Do you regret throwing that can out of the window of your car in the Chain Spotting video?
Not at all, aluminium is bio degradeable.

Now that you're team manager, will you allow the riders to behave the way you do or will it be bed at 8pm with no supper?
Let em run amok, not sure they will though. They can do whatever they want, be nice if they occasionally ride there bike's fast though.

How do you think DH can move forward and develop?
The NPS is a shambles, we need live timing on a board, at £50 an entry it's disgusting, can't believe they get away with it.

Rider to look out for this year?
Spock (Ed: Gee Atherton!)

Best beer?
Kronenbourg at mo

Worst crash?
Can't remember, breaking my leg was definetely the most painfull thing i've ever gone through
