The Ordnance Survery Outdoors Show was held at the NEC in Birmingham, spanning three halls its a pretty big affair. From rock climbing, to kayaking and mountain biking the show covered pretty much everything and had loads of different activites on offer.

It all kicked off with the Royal Marines abseiling down the side of the NEC, one even managed to put his foot straigh through the glass, precise or what!
Although the bike arena at the NEC was relatively small, they managed to fit in a trials demo arena and even some small north shore stuff for the kids to try on bikes provided specially.

Specialized had a big stand, with all the range on show as well as their helmets, saddles and other accessories available to touch and prod. News is that they are building another one of their stores in the Fort Dunlop building in Birmingham.

One of the main attractions was the indoor kayaking pool, where you could watch mini slalom races or have a go yourself in a range of different boats.

While continuing the water theme, why not try your hand at scuba diving? Even though it was inside the water was still pretty cold!

When your sponsors havent sorted you out with a new bike since age 5, you need to have words...
